I’m a little over a week into this program and I love it! The book is awesome and I actually look forward to doing the lesson each day. I’m working the program in 30 days and signed up the the daily emails but have not gotten any, nor have any gone to my junk/spam folder. I even signed for the daily emails up under another email and still no luck. Has anyone else had this problem? I tried to submit a support ticket multiple times but kept getting a pop-up that said “There was an error processing your request. Please try again later.” Would love to know what’s going on. Not a big deal considering how awesome this program is but if there’s a way to get those daily emails I would like to get them.

Welcome aboard the Sober Coaster @Sobernaut76 and DawnM25 .
I am sorry to have to inform you that the email function only works sporadically. In addition some of the functions don’t work. HOWEVER, the program works, and it will work for you!
If you have questions, let me know.
Navigating this Companion Website is tricky at times, and totally doable!!!!
    Onward, Sina

I’m on day 17 but today is actually my 30th day sober. I also love the program and I’m working hard to stay with it. Doing the work has sometimes not happened every day but I’m plugging along. My desire to drink is almost gone, although today I had a slight desire to have a glass of wine after work. It quickly went away when I got home, sat down with a cup of hot chocolate and started reading day 17. I’ve found it so helpful to read some of the posts and hear that there are others out there with all those frustrating conversations going on in your head about avoiding the temptations!

I am plugging along too. just finished day 10 but started 23 days ago. Not drinking is easier than I expected. But I am finding it harder to keep doing the work each night. Oh well. I will keep going. I worry about what happens after “day 30”

Hi Sailorboy17 … I started this program about 15 or 16 months ago or so (12/31/17). It’s worked for me, thank goodness! I’ve done about 13 or 14 30-day alc-free commitments. So, I’ve been mostly dry.
I know how you feel about wondering what you’re going to think or do after the 30-day commitment.
When I tried a couple of drinks after a commitment, I did not feel well. And I re-committed immediately to another 30-day commitment.
Today is day 45 of whatever alc-free commitment I’m on now (15?).
I’m 64 years old and realize I need to pay particular attention to my health as I approach my 70s and 80s.
Those years can get dicey without health.
    My best to you!!

Hi tfoxen36 … Sinaqueena (one of the original members here) says that the emails aren’t up and running.
But, the book and solutions are still plentiful regardless.
If you want more, have you ever gone into YouTube and searched under alcohol dependence?
I have found watching videos there to be extremely helpful. You could search for Annie Grace, or Craig Beck or Tommy Rosen. They are excellent coaches and it’s relaxing just to take in one of their videos and come away with more knowledge about this issue.
I started 16 months ago with this program and have cut way, way back. I’d call myself 95% dry.
I actually prefer being sober now. My best to you!
