Have to admit, I was none too happy when I heard (I’m using the 30DSS audio book) that I had to abandon my original Vision Statement. I’ve come to love and cherish that statement and I love that it is tied into my core value words. I read it 10x per day, it is the first thing I read in the morning and the last thing I read at night. In the 30DSS it has become my anchor. (core value words in all caps) It is:
I am thriving in sobriety and so incredibly grateful because I am more POSITIVE, have greater HEALTH, and higher SPIRITUALITY. I have rediscovered that natural MOTIVATION and LOVE that I have for life and for my family, and I have refocused my goals for my body and my profession. There is so much joy in my life from the amazing food I feed myself and the exercise I engage in daily. There is FREEDOM in having realized these past 30 days that everything I need to live a balanced life I can develop from within and so much COURAGE in knowing that the rest I can attract to me.
Anyway, after looking at a blank screen for a long time I started slowly playing around with it, with the affirmative questions and really pared down what is important to me. So, here is my NEW 30-day Vision Statement and I think I really like what came out. I’m going to really enjoy asking this of myself multiple times each and every day.
How do I continue to thrive in sobriety in a way that generates POSITIVITY, promotes good HEALTH, and higher SPIRITUALITY? What are the ways to find the source of MOTIVATION and LOVE to realize the goals of improving and balancing my life, giving me COURAGE to achieve and attract great things and FREEDOM to live on those terms that I set for myself?
