When I am driving my truck and pass a liquor store or bar.
I am confident and strong
Happy and healthy
Thriving in sobriety
I sing it really loud and off key usually.
It sounds really dumb but it’s hard to be serious when doing it. Sometimes being to serious can become a negative thing. So just letting go is a good thing for me.
It makes me happy to sing these words.
I was thinking today about all of us in this program working through our solutions each day. Each of us doing our jobs or being at home. And i really understood that we are all in this together.
So this afternoon I will sing for all of us!
We are confident and strong
Happy and healthy
Thriving in Sobriety!
Happy Friday everyone!

better_sober . . . Cool! And thanks for singing out loud and off key for all of us. Keep on rocking, the universe is listening.
Got to sing our way past the many temptations in our path. Got to keep after the reasons and outlast all the pushing and pulling that would drag us down that road of broken glass. Thrive! Thrive! Thrive!

better_sober . . . Hope it’s still all going well and that you’re still singing at the top of your lungs. We each have to find what works. One day at a time. One successful moving past what would otherwise trip us up. But we’ve done enough tripping, now is the time for gently entering into the improved us. Take care!

Hi Rico! Good to hear from you.
Yes all is going very well here. I am on day 26 today. All about the exercise!
Well, I have a rowing machine that I use. And I am into cycling, before I relapsed three years ago I was riding about 25 miles a day.
So I started riding on weekends again weather permitting of course. I will ride today 7 to 10 miles.
How are you doing? Where are you at in the program?
Keep singing my friend! Write back when you can,
Bye for now,
